Cowboy From The Past

This piece came from a place of slowing down and really sitting with the feeling of a story that’s already been lived. Cowboy From the Past is an acrylic artwork layered with pastel pencil, and I loved letting the texture do a lot of the talking — the hat, the lines in his face, the quiet strength in his posture.
