THE ROYAL FAMILY

I called this painting The Royal Family as it is of 3 royal women. I found this image as a very small sepia photo. It was taken in 1901 on a Station in Western N.S.W. I was struck by the writing which was written with a pen straight onto the photo. Once I read the inscription I was again struck by how proud and beautiful these women were, even though they had been reduced to servants.
