I think Kookaburras are amazing birds. They are chocked full of personality! 
I think if you had to choose a bird that is Aussie through and through .. then the Kookaburra is it!
Their laugh is unique amongst birds and they are such characters .. in this painting I decided to paint lots of them because I felt that one bird alone didn’t capture the essence of the Kookaburra.
